About Terpenes
When your nose smells different concentrations of terpenes and flavors, it often recognizes them as a common smell, such as tropical fruits, pine needles, hopps, citrus, or cannabis. Terpenes are actually naturally-occurring compounds that make up the building blocks of many flavor profiles.
Many fruit and herbal flavors you are familiar with are actually organoleptic concentrations of a blend of these natural compounds called “terpenes”, and since they are abundantly found in nature, it is possible to extract and concentrate the identical terpenes compounds from fruits and vegetable extracts for use in food grade flavorings. This process has been done for hundreds of years.
Terporah is Different
Terporah blends the flavoring and terpenes from many different natural sources where they occur. We offer a selection of flavor solvents and extracts from natural and organic sources in order to serve our customers with the best product at reasonable prices.
The naturally-occurring terpenes from industrial hemp and regulated cannabis are often removed during processing in order to isolate legal cannabinoids. After this processing, the result is a poorly flavored active ingredient.
Terporah empowers you to add many of these terpenes and their beautiful flavor profiles back into the active compounds you wish to manufacture.
If You Need Natural and Organic Flavors
Natural flavors are desirable because they contain a more complete spectrum of flavoring compounds and more hearty flavor notes than their artificial counterparts. Natural flavors and aromas are the most compatible solution for making premium quality CBD and hemp products that remain cost effective and are flavored right.
Organic flavors are a sub-category of natural flavors and contain the rich terpene blends with some choice sourcing required. These versatile flavors are essential in the growing market for quality and pure CBD products for consumers that want to chose an organic origin over a more simple, natural origin. Organic certification requires compliance with organic farming practices, and strict verification of the supply chain to meet FDA labeling standards. These flavors are a bit more costly to produce because of the documentation and sources required.
Oil Soluble
This means that the product is formulated for use in tinctures, baked products, and other oil soluble solutions. These flavors impart more mouth feel than alcohol solvent flavorings and should be used when a raw material with oil solvent or dry mixing is needed. Oil soluble flavoring should never be used in a vape product.
Alcohol Soluble

Because they are extremely potent flavors, the residual alcohols stay low and can steep out in a final product. Solubility testing will help determine if these flavors are suitable in your product.
